9 Giraffes ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Country Tracker mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our App.

1. Information We Collect

Country Tracker is designed with privacy at its core. We collect minimal data:

• Location data: The App may access your device's location services to automatically detect country changes. Location data is processed and stored locally on your device only.
• Photo metadata: If you use the travel history recovery feature, the App reads date and location metadata from your photos. This data is processed entirely on your device and is never transmitted to our servers.
• Usage analytics: We may collect anonymous, aggregated usage statistics to improve the App. This data cannot be used to identify you personally.

2. Data Storage

All your personal travel data, including country visits, stay durations, and notes, is stored locally on your device and optionally synced via your personal iCloud account. We do not have access to this data.

3. No Account Required

Country Tracker does not require you to create an account. We do not collect your name, email address, or any other personal identifiers.

4. Third-Party Services

The App may use the following third-party services:

• Apple App Store: For app distribution and in-app purchases. Subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.
• RevenueCat: For subscription management. RevenueCat processes purchase data but does not receive your personal information. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties. Your travel data remains on your device.

6. Children's Privacy

Our App is rated 4+ and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The App does not require any personal information to function.

7. Data Retention

Since your data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it. Deleting the App will remove all locally stored data. Data synced to iCloud is subject to your iCloud settings.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access all data the App stores (visible within the App)
• Export your data (PDF export feature)
• Delete all your data by uninstalling the App
• Disable location services at any time through your device settings

9. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the App and its functionality. Since your data is stored locally and/or in your personal iCloud account, it benefits from Apple's device-level and iCloud security measures.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
